Josie Le Balch, CNWI has been training at J9's K9s since 2008. She's dabbled in Agility, Rally, Obedience and Conformation with her dogs as well as doing Therapy Dog work, but found her true passion in K9 Nose Work. She competes at the top levels of this sport and has achieved the coveted "NW3 Elite" title! Josie has been involved with animals ever since she was a child, volunteering at various multi-species rescue organizations. After years owning and operating restaurants, she hung up her apron and decided to pursue dog training as a full-time career. She currently works at trials almost every weekend and continues to stay abreast of the must current training techniques. She also volunteers at the West Los Angeles Shelter, bringing her sniffer expertise into play so dogs waiting to be adopted can enjoy this enriching, stress-relieving activity there.
